When I finished. But as I said. I couldn't complete the 365watts for 2 minutes or the 275 watts for three minutes ones.

After my ride last night it went up to 205.

Mark

203/205 is a good level, and shows you’re not a newcomer to cycling.

Had you estimated an FTP before hand? I haven’t done an FTP test for quite a while, but my memory of it was that I had to do intervals upto a certain level to get fully warmed up, and then it was a 20 min test where you just ride as hard as you can, followed by a cool down....

Not at all. Saw someone on Facebook mention it and thought I'd give it ago.
It's exactly as you say.

It really is a good shout is 200+. I’ll be honest it took me 3mnths of peddling for 3times a week to get there. (Doubt I’m at 200 now TBH) although I do have lbs on my side. Next target for you is to hit the 1000w peak lol (my little chickens can’t get to it lol). Hope your tagged up with a heart rate monitor by now.
You on strava yet !

Have been on Strava for years, linked it to Zwift last week, linked Zwift Power today.
As for lbs on your side I'm 18 1/2 stone! I reckon I might have more! Lol!
Need to get a heart rate monitor soon.

I hit 500 watts yesterday. So half way!

Just aim to keep the power and let the lbs drop off, either way it’s good all round providing your keeping your ticker in check. Get the Heartrate at the earliest and train against that. Keep up the good work

I’ve not hit 1000watts yet... I’ve done 900W (which in badges terms is called Blowdrier I think) but haven’t hit 4 figures...

@Oliver, I’m intermittent at best!

Remember if your going to ride a push bike do not wear Lycra, unless you want to look like a c0ck.

Wear something bright, and have foooking lights!!!!!

So many c0cks without lights and in head to toe BLACK attire populate the A25! You cannot see them! Motorcyclists have to ride with lights on since the mid 90's and the EU wanted all motorcyclists to wear hi-vis clothing , maybe pushcyclists should too...

If your pushing the pedals then you appreciate every ounce of assistance, Lycra is the only way :D, agree you look a C but a slippery, cutting through wind C that is lol.
Totally agree with Bright clothes and lights, its my only excuse to step out the door with florescent yellow shoes, clothes and matching glasses. What a COOL looking C I am :p

What’s really funny is that even when riding a bike attached to a trainer in their garage / gym / living room I suspect the majority of users are still kitted out in head to toe Lycra...

I go as far as wearing cycling shorts - but that’s because I have a sensitive ar$e and a pointy saddle!

Webber St. You appear to have (near as **** it) ridden right past my office. Should have waved ;)

C

Funny thing is that in Zwift, once you pass under the River Thames, and cross to the South bank, you are instantly in either Richmond Park, or cycling up Box Hill. So whilst it looks on the map like I rode down Webber Street, there was only open fields, rutting deer, and lots of butterflies! I presume it’s not like that in real life?

You did Ride London ? , your not a novice lol.

Never said I was! :p Just a novice at Zwift. Need to get back to fitness as after RL I hardly got out on my bike at all.

Have signed up for it again next year, without the sponsorship (so I probably won't get in).
The only problem with all the bike rides is that most want you to raise hundreds of pounds in sponsorship. Once is fine.
But no-one wants to keep shelling out for every bike ride you do. So am having to find the ones that only cost me.

Thus far I've found the London to Southend one. Ride Birmingham and Ride Cambridge are closed roads. Everything else is on the open road.

LOL. you haven't been on it much since ride London as your still drying out o_O (I did it this year also) same story really, spent 3-4 months leading up to it training like mad then now trying to find the time (or will). Hard to find closed roads ones. look into (and enter) the Amstel team ride for RL, you stand a better chance getting in and its the same cost as normal entry (without the agro of finding sponsors)
Isle of Man CC was a good one we did this year but still open roads.

Just done the register of interest for the Amstel one. If I get in, I'm sure I could find 3 others who want to be part of the team.
