Those are the piping covers in Maserati speak. They are basically a sacrificial part, and cost about £7 each of you don’t have a wire brush and a some underseal.

As above, pipe covers and plate covers so minor and superficial.

However, the plates behind the front headlights are a known spot that never gets much attention on here. They are more expensive @ 250ish a pair and can make the arch liner mounting bolts rust solid etc. It's a plate that should not really rust the way it does but Maserati appear to use a very cheap coating on them.
