No doubt a Newbie question, so please forgive the ignorance before I ask................... ONE air filter or TWO ? '2000 3200 GTA

Two, one in each of these black boxes.

Remove the 4 screws and you can access the filter.

only bummer is the suckers cost me A$143 each........ ouch. Glad they last 25K

How much:eek: there only £18 quid each from you local spares shop, you just quote the Fram part number

These are BMC, oil soaked cotton supported on either side by a wire mesh. they can be cleaned in petrol and refreshed with a special fine oil that is supplied.

I know, a huge shock, but initial costs of new ownership come with unexpected surprises. At least they will last for ever with a bit of TLC. The old paper ones I took out were totally *******.

alfatwo, any chance you can dig that part number out?

I'm trying to buy all my parts up front before hitting the servicing in one weekend (I have a long list of overdue items to resolve...)

I've just checked, the last air 3200 air filter I changed wasn't a Fram

It was an Tecnocar part # A195, you could cross reference, hope that helps
