Good evening, I've been advised that the tx valve, 375530166, on my 3200 is on the fritz - where i am located it is difficult to locate parts at the best of times. And the Maserati dealer rolls his eyes at supplying older parts. But happy to sell a new car.

Does anyone know of the Alfa OR Fiat equivalent in part number for this valve ?

Any advice or assistance is greatfully accepted. We've got to keep the oldies on the road.

Cheers.

Where are you? That part number seems to cover 4200 and qp too so there should be some about.

Hi, thanks for responding. I'm in Western Australia. Suppliers here are reluctant to support older models.

I was advised by a ferrari dealer that the same part was used in Alfa Romeo and Fiat but with a different part number.

Thanks again.

Shared with an Alfa 166 but appears to be a generic part across numerous marques.
Manufacturer ref: TGK 521235 or part code 5.120.504.0.9

73072

Might be worth contacting TGK to check on the significance, if any, of the highlighted reference.
Have found numerous Alfa 166 valves advertised where this varies. Also varies between marques.

Would be interesting to know what TGK say about the last two values. Flow rate variations maybe but seems unlikely.

Yes, I've emailed immediately with all of those details and asked about compatibility and if they're interchangeable.

I'll certainly post anything I get back as I've been told by more than one technician that they fail.

Dealers here are asking nearly $1000 to purchase.

There has to be better ways of keeping our cars going.

Cheers.

I have seen them for £204 and €178 on Google.
