Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio - who owns one and is it epic?

Do you have the pre facelift or the post facelift XFR? I’ve used a late model XFR for a while and its screen while not amazing was ok.

The XFR is a great car and I think one of the best sport saloons, however its really more like a 4 door GT car and its really more like a really fast luxury cruiser which is what it is. Its drivetrain is much more relaxed than a Maserati.

The Giulia QV on the other hand i never drove but I imagine it to be a sports car that happens to be a saloon.

Not got an XFR (Mines a diesel XFS) but the infotainment is the same up to 2013 or 2014 (I think).

And I can't stand it. It's what lets the car down. I don't think I'll buy another Jag whilst they use touch screens.
Merc and BMW use a Jog wheel thing and it works so much better and you don't have to stare at it to get whatever you want. A quick glance does the trick.

Harmon Kardon had a similar thing in their iPod Drive and Play adapter. Worked like a charm

I do love an XFR too. In fact I was just about to buy a lovely 2013 one in BRG with tan leather when the QP Sport GTS I have now came up for sale which I bought instead.

The guilia will do the ‘sport’ part of sports saloon better than the XFR, being much lighter and having better steering.

It is a shame the jag is not made anymore and I think is another car now very cheap for what you get for the money and the best ones have slowed right down in terms of depreciation. Will probably start rising soon. Great cars.
I agree , the XFR represents very good value for money , they're cheap because of the economy and road tax , you have to really want one

The economy or road tax aren’t too wallet friendly on my QP either.....or my GTA for that matter!
But they both look and sound awesome, so its a price worth paying I’d say.

Plus the insurance is cheap and the depreciation is zero or positive. Man maths rule!

It is a genuinely really annoying problem. I can get executed for touching my phone but it’s fine to spend 35 minutes trying to adjust the bloody (ch)air conditioning. Who thought no buttons for heated/cooled seats was clever? Idiots.

Still, it actually makes me laugh out loud when I’m pressing on so it’s worth the small sacrifice.

The touchscreen I have in the XJL is not very responsive either but you can retrofit the later digitiser panel to earlier cars pretty easily and cheaply I understand. I was going to do it but I don't use the car tons and it hasn't bothered me as much as I thought it might. There are worse things happening in the world for me to worry about such an issue.

I do love the XJL SuperSport though, have had it 4 years now and don't see me changing it anytime soon.

At the end of the day, the GTA/GTAm is the only Alfa Giulia that makes sense
But I don't necessarily mean that as a complimentPosted on DriveTribe by Alessandro Renesis. Some grey reviews of the car but the question is would you pay 150k for one. A lot of money that.
