Pretty car but not enough guts and very dodgy handling

Agree with you on the pretty bit. There is one local to me andit is a stunner...Just not a great drive. Bit like the last one really.

Yes, it is very very pretty, but every time I see the Brera and Spider it just makes me sad. It could have been a winner, but in stead, the failed in 3 areas, rear leg room, weight and American engine. Ok the American engine was actually not that bad, but you just dont do that to an Italian sports car.

Kaz Likes these , and we too have one reasonably local in black ,and its a diesel which would suit her work wise , her next car will be a toss up between and SL or one of these , the jury is still out at the moment , dont think she will be driving it fast enough to discover the poor handling qualities

Yep def the Alfa Loz just for the way it looks. The SL is just boring to drive. Say the black one coming home today it had athracite wheels and looked yummy...Like you Matt I just think a big missed opportunity..Shame.

For me it is still the best looking convertable under £50,000

I will say when it came out I wasn't a fan because of the humps on the back but after seeing a few I would agree with you UM...Not many convertables look better..
