Had the AZ yesterday lunchtime, other than an aching arm all good - day off today so will enjoy the sunshine and make a start on replacing the GranTurismo's alarm siren which can barely be heard anymore. Will take some pics of the process

The siren on my QP has never worked, and looking at potential replacement QPs I now realise how annoying the locking beep can be - can that be switched off?

Seems that if you’re 70 they’re gonna start giving boosters.

Wonder if they’ll mix n match?

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
I understand that there are trials underway on mixing the vaccines and proportions of each to try and work out the very best combination which delivers maximum efficacy. Apparently this approach has been tried before in developing the Ebola virus vaccine.

Second jab complete! Had the Pfizer version, which, rumour has it, has less of an immune response than the Moderna.

Day after, definitely felt like I had a flu coming on. Generally fatigued, sensitive skin, uncomfortable stomach. Lasted half a day. Decided to nap in the afternoon, ended up dead to the world for a good two hours! Woke up feeling like Alice returning from her adventures. Not a trace of discomfort or fatigue remaining.

Feeling downright invincible now that I can do all the things I used to do freely, without fear of infecting myself or others.

On of my daughters tested positive literally an hour ago. She's asymptomatic it seems, never knew until her BF said he couldn't taste anything. Obvs he has it too...

Had the text to book for my first jab on Thursday, wasn't expecting it for some time given all the press about lack of supply for first doses this month and nothing for the under 50's.

Booked in for next Wednesday afternoon.

The Mrs at 49 is getting more frustrated not been offered the jab yet.
Through one thing or another all our friends under 50 have had it.
Yesterday visited her Sister down in Derby who had a baby 6 months ago and the first time we could see them. They are in their 30's and she had the jab for a mild case of asthma, and her husband has had it because he works for Nottingham Council, classed as a keyworker, working for home as a IT networking specialist!! Go figure.

Had my first one on Saturday (AZ) woke up on Easter Sunday feeling like someone had given me a seriously dead arm and like I was going down with flu or something. Finally feeling normal again two days later. Still at least that is the first one over and done with. Also seems we will be allowed to travel out of Wales from 12th April so can finally start to get some things done!

I'm back to normal now. Took 10 days for me to get over the Astrazenica. Impacted on work, as I have a questionnaire to answer prior to travelling, have you in the last 10 days had ....... etc. Had to answer yes to a couple. Second one in June, can't say I'm looking forward to it, but at least that will be them done.
