It's killed 3.8 million. That's enough isn't it?

If it wasn't for precautions, lockdowns and vaccines, it would be a lot more. Callous cnut
I know you’re fishing.
I ain’t gonna bite.
Can I suggest you tape up the front doors,
double mask,
check your age and
look up the NHS death tables,
then
reverse all the above
and
Stop listening to all the fear mongering.

Assuming you're referring to the one-time ruler of the North Sea Empire, I believe he preferred to be known as Cnut the Great. Callous Cnut was, perhaps, a less admired sibling.

I'm caught in the middle here , I don't believe all the **** spread about the vaccine but I also think restricting everyone to save the few has gone as far as it can

Millions are losing their jobs , high streets are deserted ,shops closed down, increased suicide from depression in men could increase dramatically over the next few years.

I was looking forward to the Superbikes at the end of the month but tickets suspended as they can only let 4000 in now , a massive park outdoors where everybody arrives in their own transport

What a load of ********

Ohh this just gets more ridiculous by the day......maybe this should be in the "rant thread"??

Fans who had AstraZeneca vaccine won’t be allowed into Bruce Springsteen’s New York concerts
Anyone who has had the AstraZeneca vaccine will be barred from attending Bruce Springsteen’s comeback shows in New York next week.

https://apple.news/AWXnL1qDgTPepSIv5_fft9w

Springsteen’s back on Broadway – but no AstraZeneca vaccine recipients allowed | Bruce Springsteen | The Guardian

But they'll let -ve test under 16's in. (AZ recipients dont even get that option)

Funny old thing science........

I'm off to enjoy my view.

“Ever get the feeling you’ve been cheated?” As a butter salesman once said...

Ive had the first jab. Reluctantly. Even though I considered the risk of this experimental jab to be worse than the risk to me from this bug. Will not have the second one - or any more boosters or anything - unless they end the madness of the restrictions.

It’s a shame eh.
I’m not anti vaccine either.
Stay true to your beliefs.

Yes it all makes perfect sense as Roger Waters said… don’t take the second jab because you’re against restrictions ‍‍o_O:rolleyes:

In the Netherlands nearly all restrictions will go, which is a function of a large proportion of the population having had the jab(s) AND cases down dramatically as well as hospitals nearly empty.

in the UK numbers NOT dramatically down (yet)….so you’ll just have to be patient to not become a patient. Getting the jab(s) helps that.

So if someone's only had 1 AZ jab they can go in for half the show? Not that I'd want to anyway - he should have quit years ago.

Yes, they said have jabs, you can travel etc. They welched. They did not keep their part of the deal, meanwhile I was the one that guinea pigged myself for something I don’t consider a big enough threat.

Uk no’s not down? Which no’s you looking at? I was in local city hospital a few weeks back. Biggest hospital for 20 miles, covers a vast area. The doc is spoke to? Are your numbers down? Yes. Single figures admitted at present. From highs of 3 figures at a time.

And it will kill more if due to a lack of vaccination we get more mutations, if left alone it will only be a matter of time before
  1. it burns itself out
  2. it mutates and starts killing in the millions again
I prefer scenario 2. Which is why the focus is turning to vaccinate the poorest parts world.

Ok vaccinations the answer.
7.7billion on the planet.
178 million infected so far
4 m unfortunately dead.

wanna divide 7.7b by 178m?
43 years
Ok let’s 1/4 it.
See the problem?
Vaccinating is the problem.

Would you send you closest elderly relative unvaccinated to India, would help with herd immunity? ;)

It's not going to change until government addresses the elephant in the room , we all know why cases in the north west are rising
