I know nothing about this one and am not due to view this one. The one I am viewing tomorrow is not currently advertised for sale or on the market.

Looking better now the lower it goes but still needs a good solid check out.

Oh dear.....another one incoming....supposed to be decreasing the number of cars.... not increasing it!

Deposit paid and collecting Friday morning.

One (more expensive) way of upgrading the TVR brakes Dean!

Chr1st the red one is down to 9995 now! Gone down 5k in a few months since first advertised.

I think the original price of 14995 was a little rich but seems well priced now. Tough one as early car with seemingly poor history but with lots of GS extra but I guess how much more does it make it worth.

Has to be one of the best looking and most cost effective cars out there ATM does it not?

I'm seriously tempted now. Realistically how much will it cost if everything needs doing like heater matrix (1.5k?) , subframe (2k?) Brakes (1k) ?

Looking at a Cayman next week but this may be a better, albeit much older prospect for 15k assuming all above needs doing...

Has anyone been to see this red one or shown any interest in it? I'm thinking of starting to corner the 4200 market!

Not me. Saw a Cayman. Very nice but just left me feeling bleh. It wasnt an occasion, in fact I preffered my 350z. Flawed in every way almost, but the industrialness and sound it made (as well as power oversteer) made driving much more of an event.

So, the search continues again for something less capable that makes the trousers fizz, even if its flawed. Good luck with it if you do look. Would be good to hear your thoughts.

Have you been to look and drive a 4200 or any Maser yet to see what you think?

Not yet. The red 4200 only came into my list by chance, although I only like it in red so limited choice. Need to test a 4.2 GT as that was my original choice that made me join this site. Also now want to see if I can gel with the e46 m3s. When I drove the smg box version years ago I wasnt a huge fan so might look for a manual one of those.

Having a bit of a disposable budget isnt helping as there are so many options now each with their own merits it's making me so indecisive!

It is a minefield at the moment as a ton of interesting cars out there for anything from 5k to 15k.

That is my problem but I went about it the wrong way. Instead of indecision on which ones to buy I just bought them all! Doh!!
