Hi,

Looking at getting a quattroporte and this seems to stand out from the rest, FDSH, decent mileage and clutch 4k ago. Has anyone been to see it or owned previously?

Also who can do a ppi check on these round thr Brighton area and how much does the check usually cost?

Thanks in advance

It looks very nice, but check the MOT history as it failed on 26th June, one of the failures being

Engine MIL inoperative or indicates a malfunction (8.2.1.2 (h))

It might be ok, but.....

Watch out it's got some tasty extras including "Sports Swearing wheel". I'll be ****** off if my own "Sports Steering wheel" turns out be aone of those, the **** that sold me the car will get properly ****** up.

rear exhaust section certainly been replaced (which might be a good thing) judging by priapic appearance in picture two. My own car is still on the original exhaust unit so they can last this long, presumably something more fruity was added. New clutch is good news and the specification on Sport GT is pretty good but this has the carbon too. significant improvement on piano black or wood imho.
as any 13 year old car - get it checked, especially the subframe.
Oh and make sure there is a receipt for the new silencer "Stanless Steal exhaust"

Thanks guys, the exhaust for me a good thing as it's the first thing I'd be buying for it.

The "sports swearing wheel" may have been a built in road rage option.

I've messaged sportsitalia and the seller so hopefully hes open to having it checked over.

Good luck, hope it turns out to be in good condition. Had my own Sport GT since Late 2014 and still love it. Drove my mates GT 4.7 MC-shift recently and of course loved it. Do I want to swap or upgrade? Of course! Is it enough to cough up 29k to get the extra noise, speed and coupe shape? no.........well not yet :D

GT mc look epic! I could go out now and get a standard GT for around £20k but cant justify it for something I only do £1k miles in a year when it's a 4th vehicle, quattroporte seems to tick all the boxes at the right price for something I will hardly use, saying that I'll be looking for excuses to use it!!! Dont think it will depreciate too much when the coming economic pain hits in Autumn. But if someone offered me an early GT for 13/14k I think i'd have to pull the trigger on it, I just love the shape! Not going to happen now, but may do by Christmas!

Finally spoke to him, engine management light still on apparently due to faulty wing mirror switch, it's not full maserati history as last one was a specialist, too busy to take to sportsitalia for a check over at my expense. Think I'm going to pass on this one :0036:

Anyone know of a decent black Quattroporte?

I'd call BS on that......

Busted external temp sensor screws the TPMS but I really can't see how the wing mirrors would impact the CEL
