As yet undecided, pros and cons to both gearboxes, my head says auto, heart says manual.
Try both, but it all very much depends what you are going to use the car for. I always drive mine in manual and yes the changes are not the fastest, but it is quick enough for me and I can switch off and let it do its thing when I want to. And the 3k for a clutch can go on beer! Win win.

I live at the end of the world in pembrokeshire, in a very small village with crappy country roads. I'll literally be driving a mile down to the beach to check the surf most days, picking kids up from school round the corner, maybe the odd trip to the nearest town 17 miles away, I very rarely venture more than 2 miles from my house. That's why my head is saying auto. It will be a 4th vehicle and I'll be looking for excuses to use it.

Sounds idyllic, diagonally opposite corner of Wales to me. If you’re remote and poor roads, I’d advise buying a later auto with an engine no >148697.

Just called about this, asked if it was a full auto or duo select "it's an auto, it's not got a clutch mate!" Ffs, had to explain theres 2 gearboxes both dont have a clutch pedal, seemed to stump the poor chap as he couldn't get his head round it. Can someone tell me by looking at the pics if its duo select or not?

Brilliant guys thanks! Not sure how long it's been for sale for and not had that question asked previously! Not really inspiring confidence in me. Shame as looks nice even though up on miles.

Nothing to cry about on the MOT history. My own car survived the 84k mark and a further. The front subframe is the deal breaker. (clutch maybe too). they are located Unit B CHESTERTON BUSINESS CENTRE, CHESTERTON COURT, EASTWOOD TRADING ESTATE, Rotherham, South Yorkshire, S65 1SJ

Definitely check the front subframe as the one I replaced last year which was a 2007 was in Yorkshire and it was shockingly bad.
Had to replace all the bolts and suspension bushes too.

Just had the history sent, last clutch change was 66k miles, now on late 80's, clutch bill incoming I think, going to pass on this aswell. Auto with flappy paddles looks the way forward or a recent clutch change duo select.

Somebody will comment on the interior being Dog knob red.
Autotrader say it's over priced but everything probably is at the moment.
