That black stone chip paint on the lower sides and sills probably isn't there for aesthetic reasons. I would be amazed if it doesn't have some tin worm to deal with and has never been welded. I had one of these, it rusted when I added salt to my chips 20 feet away.

I'm more impressed that they can get APR down to 'from just 9.9%'.....

Just had another shuftie and the seller has dropped the price by a grand.... desperate to get shot of it maybe...?

Here's a wee article that was done on mine when I had it. I repaired a couple of serious rust issues, by serious I mean you could see daylight through the holes...

Yours looks very tidy indeed - did all of the Biturbos have black painted sills from new...?

Only the early ones, later ones had body coloured sill covers, or water traps as they are known! No two cars are the same, especially the early ones, as De Tomaso raided whatever parts he could get, for example, my car had BMW e21 brakes on it and various electrical parts from a Ford Capri. He just didn't have any money and rushed them out for sale by buying up bits from wherever he could get them.
