I was talking to Pretige Installs the other day and they have now fitted Apple Car play in 4 GTS and 1 QP (mine) - the good news is that XCarlink now stock these kits in the U.K. for around £650....needless to say Prestige now have the best experience of installing these kits.

Where are Prestige based... I’d love this in mine...

Ignore this - have looked them up and they are in St Albans.... tempting to see I could have Apple car play and a reversing camera for under £1k (plus installation)...

How much did that cost in the QP?
Do you know if they can handle the earlier 2005 onwards models?

I paid around £750 with shipping from Oz (I had reversing camera as well) and paid £250 for fitting as I live very near to St Albans. Suggest you contact Naviplus or XCarlink to see if it’s compatible with your QP.

Yes that was all in from Oz - cheaper from Carlink I suspect.

First time I have seen this, it’s brilliant. Thanks for sharing, it fixes the one part of the GT that I had convinced myself could be ’lived with’

I have the kit (from Oz so slightly at the slightly higher price paid by Steve) but haven't managed to arrange fitting, partly due to my commitments, and partly finding a day that Prestige can come down to South London. They don't have premises, unfortunately, so offering to travel up didn't help. Am exploring local fitters as well... If I have any luck, I'll post feedback.

Prestige can come down to South London. They don't have premises, unfortunately, so offering to travel up didn't help.

I thought they did (in fact, I think the website says they do) but as told they don't...Maybe they just didn't like the sound of me! Or maybe something got lost in translation. I am going to give them one more call anyway, as I'd ideally like someone who's done it before, so will ask again. Just get my diary in order first!
