I really do not give flying feck it I am honest. Far more important things to worry about.
Don't usually watch UK news but did the other morning and it was all about Diana and the how Martin Bashir behaved.
What shocked me is that the British PM has been sacked several times for not being truthful.
Still looks like Cummings will get his revenge this week.

I’m sorry, but to me the last paragraph of the quote doesn’t say what you are saying it does. It says that they will not investigate breakthrough cases where serious illness has not occurred. Not that they will not count these cases.

I suggest that where this isn’t your own work, you don’t post it.
So everything (but to u) else was accurate then.....all the cdc stuff....references etc

None of anything posted here is our own stuff.

Izit?
We’ve all learnt it elsewhere.

Get a life.....?
Says the man who’s life relies on me posting. Shouldn’t you be enjoying time with your daughter?
What bit of the above cdc info do you disagree with.....or do u just disagree with me bringing it to others attention.

Cummings is a snivelling rat and should go back under the stone he came out of.

I just can’t see anything about not counting cases in this.

It is specifically talking about vaccine breakthrough monitoring, not case reporting.

Yes but the case reporting is different for breakthrough cases and those not vaccinated!
1. Someone who is vaccinated and who becomes positive will not be counted unless they go to hospital......crystal clear....less than or equal to 28 cycles....

Submit only less than!!!!

So
Every non vaccinated person is subject to 40 odd cycles.

Vaccinated......”submit only specimens with ct value < or equal to 28 max!!!!!!!!”

How blatant is this....asymptomatic but vaccinated.....or asymptomatic but unvaccinated.

????

I still don’t get it. If you test positive, your case is counted, if you have been vaccinated and it makes you seriously ill, it is investigated. Specimens with a cycle could higher than 28 are not suitable to sequencing, it doesn’t say that they aren’t counted.

Seems perfectly logical to me.

No Zep, in the Us from now on if you’re vaccinated, only if “that result in” hospital or die....
“Focus on

Everyone else can be counted as a covid case. So as per before...

Consider…

Person A has not been vaccinated. They test positive for Covid using a PCR test at 40 cycles and, despite having no symptoms, they are officially a “covid case”.
Person B has been vaccinated. They test positive at 28 cycles, and spend six weeks bedridden with a high fever. Because they never went into a hospital and didn’t die they are NOT a Covid case.
Person C, who was also vaccinated, did die. After weeks in hospital with a high fever and respiratory problems. Only their positive PCR test was 29 cycles, so they’re not officially a Covid case either.
The CDC is demonstrating the beauty of having a “disease” that can appear or disappear depending on how you measure it.

I read it. It is talking about breakthrough cases and their investigation. It doesn’t say anything about how the cases are recorded, only investigated.

It still sounds perfectly logical and doesn’t, to me, say what you said it does.

It clearly says “ To focus on......”
Zep you’re a smart guy.
Re- read everything here.
They are recalibrating things in favour of vaccines.

Yes, it says it will transition from monitoring all breakthrough cases to “focus on” more serious breakthrough cases. The context of this focus is much narrower than you have characterised it mean. If, for example, it said “The CDC will transition from measuring, recording and monitoring any Covid cases to “focus on” only serious vaccine breakthrough cases” then you would be right, but it doesn’t.

But anyway, it’s a matter of opinion. You have yours, I’ll have mine, we have both stated them so let’s leave it there.

“Are you worried yet”

Yup still worried,

How a village in India reached 100% vaccination in the face of misinformation and hesitancy
The techniques used in the village of Janefal could now be a model for regions around the world that are struggling with low vaccination rates.

Read in National Geographic: https://apple.news/A9pdGbirNTd6naaYGVGO6YA

100%!!!!
(So there are no young people in these places....babies, 5-12 year olds?)

Sarla Zalte, who has been serving as a health worker in the village for nearly three decades, says that she has made dozens of home-to-home visits since January, trying to persuade villagers into getting inoculated. She says she would reason with residents, comparing the COVID-19 vaccine with the Bacille Calmette-Guerin and Hepatitis B jabs for newborns, insisting that like these immunization shots, the only purpose of COVID-19 vaccines was to build immunity against the novel disease

Really?
