Not so much getting around them more like simply not following them, they should all be in isolation -
but at least they are leaving the Country rather than coming in o_O
Apparently, it's ok - US citizens cannot be denied the chance to re-enter the US. Same for spouses. And they don't need to travel together. It all just feels a bit reckless to me.

I thought are rules stated that if a member of your household tests positive you have isolate - either way, I agree it feel reckless.

That's the rule here, seemingly not in France. Or it's just ignored. In this case, some members of the household had covid a week or two back but have now tested -ve. Not sure why that should make a difference, mind you. If you're a threat, stay at home. Bloody daft.

Australian news reporting tonight that it will take around 2 years to vaccinate everyone (Adults, no mention of the impact of mutations on that plan) and that as a result International travel will not return until 2024 and that it will involve vaccine passports and Quarantine.

This is going to save me a fortune on far and away holidays for a long time. Might have to start looking at a DB11.

That's the spirit! My holiday money is going partly into investments and partly into general house stuff. And car stuff. But not an entirely new car. Mrs Crud would notice that.

I got away with ever more expensive camera lenses and bodies because they were all black , then I changed to Canon and bought a white 300mm 2.8

Is that new

Er

Not sure a new car in the same colour would fool her though :D

So are you going to follow the government advice / request and test yourself twice a week ?

I will be and will be make a request that my staff participate in the scheme as well, although I won’t make it compulsory for them.

info for all you dog and ferret owners, please pay particular attention to "do not share your dogs food" and "avoid kissing your pet"

That only applies to England thankfully so we can keep doing it here in Scotland.
