Assetto Corsa register

I don't know how helpful a Maserati dealer would be, but surely this sort of information could be obtained through the authorised dealer network or Maserati directly?
The white AC advertised on Carsales in Australia does not have the chassis number noted (although it may be possible to get that information from the seller); however it does have the engine number as follows: AM858004657
Does anyone know where this fits in the sequence of AC production, or is it pot luck anyway with engine numbers going to standard GT's versus AC's?
All I know is that Phil H looked into the AC production in great detail and confirmed there were other colour combinations of both interior and exterior colours.

I think Maseratis numbering and recording is open to question, the further back you go the more erratic it seems.......doesn't surprise me but it makes life difficult for those who want to get a handle on all those valuable details

Dem,
I do know one of the Australian delivered cars was featured in a local car magazine at the time (must see if I can source a copy of the article).
It was no. 1 of 10, has the plaque on the dashboard, has the Grigio Touring external paint colour, and burgundy leather interior.
Chances are the white car currently listed could be the real thing, yet people worldwide are questioning its authenticity as the common belief is they all came in three colours with the same interior.
Tough break for the person trying to sell the white one if it is a real AC.

All you have to do is contact the Factory, they have aways been very helpful when I needed a car verified. I'll gig out the contact details later today

There were 250 made in total I believe.

Some RHD went out to Hong Kong and the asian markets , also we had one guy come on from HK who had an assetto corsa in verde i think , there was obviously a to do about it but upon some research found to be a special order direct from the Factory

Good work on the AC register!! You should try and get onto the list that Phil H put together elsewhere - he had a pretty good list going. As a result of that list, and with a bit of additional scratching around, I've managed to piece together details on about 38 of the UK cars, so once I triple check my list, I'll send it through...

Also, it appears there were 56 AC's in Italy if this link to the photos of "No. 35/56 Italia" is correct; http://www.maserati-alfieri.co.uk/alfieri06vvvvv.htm (you need to scroll 80% of the way down the page). These pictures clearly show that AC's did come in other colour combinations in other markets. The same guy appears to also own a Gransport MC Victory, No. 3 of 180 - check out the picture of his "garage" - it looks more like a showroom!! Awesome!! 8)
