He picked the GT3 RS as a 1st drive over the 458 that says it all, most people and me included would have been tempted to drive the 458 for a 1st review but he went for the GT3........loves it

Please don't hate me but I would have the GT3 RS over the 458 any day of the week...Just love my track focused cars I suppose...

......am sure as a track car AndyK yes........but I do think the 458 is truly a thing of automotive beauty....AND performs.....unlike most Ferraris!!!!!

i wouldn't have bought any of those 3 cars on top gear, 458, it is nice but i prefer the F430, GT3 RS, silly stickers and looks OTT and SLS, just no, a merc in a fancy frock.

I love the 458, i love the GT3 RS, a decision i dont have to make unfortunately
458 every day use well 2nd car anyway and GT3 RS for track days

Frank I do agree whole hearted.....The 458 is a Ferrari that has re wrote the rule book...Unbelievable car...Performance is a league above anything else in its class...But from what I have read they have lost a little bit of that feel and magic. My brother in law drove one in Spain as he was thinking of trading iin his 575 and said it was scary fast, handled like a dream...amazing.....but he preferd his 575 as it felt....in his words....More like a Ferrari should........He said it was almost like driving any other fast car in that it didn't move him as much as his 575........

Now I'm not saying its not a brilliant car and everyone wants something different out of a car but it's not the first time I've heard that........I think as with all cars tech is taking over in the search for faster cars and making all our best brands a little bit more sterile.............Which for me is where the GT3 RS comes in as its all about driver in put and feel..That for me is more important than out right speed......But as I say brilliant car tyhe 458.
