Ok so Ive Pirelli PZero all around with rears (235/35/ZR20) that need replaced.

Do you advise mix and matching and what would you advise as being the most grippy?

I had ps4s fronts and pzero rears for a while. It was ok for general driving but it was only when all 4 were ps4s did it feel planted.

very personal choice, tires too.

personally my OCD would make me stay OEM size and types, and they seem to suit the hot temps here. Once warmed up the Pzeros are great. Note that the PZero Corsa (if indeed they are still available) are half the hardness (or, ok, twice as soft). They were fitted OEM on the strads. If you ever plan to take the car around a circuit I'd chose those. Otherwise, there are many more choices.

I had PZero's all round on my old QP but after 2 years from new, the rear tyres started to split and crack along the tread lines while the front pair were perfectly fine. I've never experienced this in 40+ years of driving all sorts of cars, so I vowed then that I would never buy another Pirreli tyre again. If you can go with Michelin Pilot Sport then do so. Far superior and will last significantly longer from my experience.

My old rears had that too. Strange.

First of all, is this the Granturismo?
If so, the rears should be 285/35/20 and the fronts 245/35/20..

Then just do this...https://www.oponeo.co.uk/tyre/michelin-pilot-sport-4-s-285-35-r20-104-y-xl-zr#333011947

If only replacing the rears, just be aware that they will have more grip than the pzero up front, especially when cold/damp so may understeer a little if your pushing it. Drive within your limits and all will be fine.

I remember Mr Stuart at school was so precise with the black board rubber, he could hit you on the head from over15 feet!

Dave
I met him years later at a school reunion, he was a lovely guy, said he kicked my ar*e for a reason!
