Give her a slap and tell her to get with the programme. If I was ever in the market for a vehicle that was badly compromised by consumer stupidity, a Yeti would be it. It's unlikely to happen because I can think for myself, but if I ever have a full frontal lobotomy, that's the car in this genre that I would go for.
Yeti's are butt ugly though...get her a new Corsa, new crs are easier to get into...SUVs are just a gimmick...

Anyone here own or have owned a Porsche Cayenne...?
Amazing car, until it goes wrong, then a fortune to fix , and the problem then is i don't love it, which then hurts at how much the specialists charge to fix it. Porsche stitches up the diagnostic software like maserati, so average mechanic will struggle often

Wifey has a 3 year d F500 x cross paid about £11k for it.

very spacious same 2L D as in my Alfa and 4x4.

Hers is Auto and her only negative comment is the engine is noisy, but she is used to petrol and this is her first D

I’ve driven it and it’s very good
Looked out the window, its a 15 plate so a bit older. Had it about a year, not gone bang....yet!

Wish you could buy a new Mitsubishi Pinin.
Mines been great over 3 years ownership now.
Although now 21 years old does everything asked of her, all fully working including a/c etc
One of those cars that is worth much more than its actually monetary value.

They appear to do a 1.4 petrol which might be favourite, need to go round to look this and some other suggestions on the forecourt.

Yes. We had the base model, a 6 cylinder version. It was excellent - lovely to drive, plenty quick enough for the type of car it is, totally reliable and very light depreciation over our 3 years of ownership. Hard to fault.
But we ended up wanting something bigger for the jobs it did, so eventually went to the Range Rover.

Just picked up a new Mazda CX-5 for the Mrs which she's delighted with. It has a really connected drive and all the features you'd expect, HUD, lane assist, carplay/android auto etc

Swapped Cayenne 4.8 GTS for the Mini above.
Porsche was impressive but not a car to love, horrific fuel consumption and everyone hates you, u til they need large items shifting quickly.

Mrs has the 1.6 E-tork petrol engine before, gutless and the head gasket went, I say avoid.

If its a multi air, make sure the system is working and change your oil every 8k miles, they are know to do and £2k to replace.

I bought the wife a new MG ZS EV recently for not much more than your budget and been very happy with it.
It is 5 star NCAP, 7 year warranty and the Exclusive is decently spec'd and fits our needs very well. Costs buttons to run and a safe not too big but highish SUV.

quite impressed by the wife's jag e pace, nice sporty looking small suv although good used ones are still fetching 30k plus , daughter is currently looking for an audi Q3 and the black editions are also real nice sporty looking motors, a tad over 20k for reasonable mileage, sub 20k for the tfsi s line, the volvo xc40 is another nice looking small suv

Will take a look
Did you see the 5th gear comparison of the 1.2 v ev corsa? They calculated on a pcp deal doing 7500 miles a year for 4 years, included fuel and maintenance and the eV came outer cheaper despite being more expensive to purchase.

Although they look great you can no longer buy one new in Europe as they fell foul of emissions regs. You can get a 2 seater commercial one

I would hate to think what they cost new if second hand ones are around 25k.......Maybe that is why they are holding their value so well??!!
