BEWARE - KJB Parts

Hi all, just a quick update on my dealings with KJB parts.
After months of waiting for a response and trying to communicate with KJB parts to find out what has happened to my order he eventually got back to me to tell me that he had refunded me, this was the day after I posted my dissatisfaction on here. The refund is not showing in my account but to remain fair I will post on here to let people know if it does actually arrive. Then as if by magic he messaged me today to say that the package has just arrived back with him and the barcode had apparently been ripped off (much like myself)
I explained that I still haven't received any refund but if he wanted to he could resend the goods as I still need them.
We then had to play a silly game of cryptic texts until he finally told me that he was disappointed to read my forum post. Well for some reason after purchasing and paying for the goods then waiting months and still not receiving any goods or refund it appears to be all my fault, he then said he will block me and delete me from his Facebook account and he never wants to speak to me again.
The term "Being caught out" springs to mind.
It is obvious that I will never resolve this issue and have been caught out myself as he is no doubt rubbing his hands with glee with his free bounty of 125 euros.
I guess he must need the money more than I do and is willing to conduct his business in such a manner so as to not have a guilty conscience. My only hope is that other innocent people don't get ripped off like myself.
As I've stated I will re post on here to say that I've been refunded as soon as I see the money reappear and I'm sure the person concerned will read this and state that everything is my fault. I can only finish by saying BEWARE AT ALL COSTS.

Well, he's lost all hope of selling parts to anyone viewing this open forum!

Not a good public relations advert. Although redemption is possible through refund or forward delivery of the goods as they do belong to the purchaser.

It's clear that kjb reads this forum, I'm merely offering the olive branch.

At the end of the day, we need part suppliers and he needs customers. However, we can choose who we buy from.

Someone needs to go knock on his door and remind him he is but a short and rather enjoyable weekend drive away.
A face to face complaint tends to focus the mind a little ......

Hope you get sorted.

A fair and honest google review tends to go down well.

Hi all, I stated that I would re post as and when I received my refund for the order. I am pleased to say that to Mr KJB's credit he has now transferred funds to my account so I think it fair to let everybody know this. I always try to be fair and honest in life as I think it is a good way to be. The matter is now closed as far as I'm concerned and I thank Mr Bart for finally sorting this out.

Unfortunately, I am experiencing exactly the same problem. Orderd and paid for parts in July 2017. Now 11 months later, no parts and no refund despite numerous reminders. Only some sporadic answers to my reminders with various excuses. I will not give up until I will get my money (350eur) back, but I would strongly advice against ordering parts by mail from him and paying in advance. Risk is that you will end up without the parts as well as your money.

However I understand that it works well you visit him and pick up your parts, but that was not possible in my case.

If you've paid by credit card start a chargeback , I orderd some parts for a subaru , despite my asking whether they were for that year they were wrong so asked him to collect them, he refused so I went down the chargeback road and got my money back, as far as I know the parts are still waiting to be collected.

Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately I paid by bank transfer, so I will have to try and get them back another way.

I'm reposting my Biturbo group post from facebook.

Kj Bart received money from me on February 2018 for an order I placed through his website. After various excuses and delays I managed to arrange pick up myself from my own courier and received only part of the order on late June 2018. This means that he owed me 500 euros which he refused to repay. I gave him the option to either refund me or send me the ordered parts immediately, but instead i received insults and threats.
The full correspondence between me and kj bart is available to anyone who wishes to see it.
I’m willing to retract the above statement if i get me refund or missing parts.
Avoid this person at any cost.

I think it’s fair to write up the conclusion to this story. Following my posts on this and other Maserati pages, I managed to get Kj Barts’s attention.
Initially he was very agitated, ordering me to send him back all the parts he had already sent me (which were paid in full), then he started giving me various excuses (he took 4 biweekly holidays in 4 months) on the delays and lack of communication. We took a week of continuous back and forth messages in various platforms but nothing happened.
I decided by then i’d had enough and took legal action against him. Following this, i got back even more agitation, threats of war (honestly) and promises of immediate resolution either by refund or by him sending the parts to me.
Another 10 days later, I can confirm i received the refund for the remaining amount (500 euros) which i’m sure is somebody else’s deposit for parts.
Overall it took 5 months for me to get my money back, i did not receive the parts i had ordered which delayed my build considerably and received so much written abuse and ******** from Kj Bart that i would recommend to anyone to avoid dealing with him in the future.
In my mind he is dishonest, borderline bipolar in his behavior and will only do right after he realizes there that you are willing to press legal charges.
As mentioned before, the full transcript of all messages exchanged between us is available to all interested parties. My aim is not to hurt anyone’s business, but to protect our community from theft and deceit. It’s a huge shame that Kj Bart chooses to operate in this way, as we all know that he has a large inventory of parts and he could be a real asset to our community.

Just a short (and positive) update from my side. Today I received the refund from Koen so ”Case closed” with regards to my order!

Well I am used to go and get some parts at KJB's. This is fine. His place is not far North from Schiphol airport (where btw you can say hello to Maseratispares). Cheese and fields of tulip if you like. When you come to visit him, this is true, Koen try to help you the best and give you all information you need, you may even go back we some extra parts as gifts. But we are not angels anyhow ...
Beware, on the site in Dutch, I think it is said that before paying anything you should get the confirmation from KJB. because the list on the site may not be up to date.
When one pays ten or twenty times the price for a part from an 100% satisfied ebay merchant just because it is a "Maserati" part that they bought at a very cheap prices from factory stocks they emptied, this is also not very fair.
(oops! Is it my first message? I thought I registered many years ago since I own a 420SI for 12 years)
