Bilstein Shocks

Looking for someone who will refurb my front shocks, it seems that Bilstein wont do this as mine are OEM ones. They are the ones with the actuators.

Indeed, David is your man for these and for contact less throttle bodies too. I know that you didn't ask for that but if you have a 3200 and haven't upgraded yet, there's a good chance you will need to in due course

I did ask David about a refurb on my Skyhook shocks.. sadly he doesn’t do them.

I asked him recently re my 4200 coupe and he said he can do it. I didn't specify it was Skyhook but given that most 4200 are you would have thought he would have mention the fact that he can't do skyhook shocks.

Just because he specialises in shocks. Doesn't mean he ought to know which shocks are on what model of Maserati.
In many instances, Maserati wouldn't be able to tell you definitively which bin a part came from, nor it's specs.

As skyhook was standard in the UK for 4200, it’s fair to say he would assume they were skyhook and be right. If he can do them it would be good as they are getting tricky to replace.

He cannot. He can only do Biturbo and 3200 shocks.

Not 100% sure how they work, but that sounds more like a broken spring than a damper failure. Worth checking if you havnt already
