Seen this car back in 2018 when I believe it was being offered for sale by Tom Keys, of Keys Motorsport, at the time a tad rough around the edges. I got put off by a lack of disclosure and obviously expertise knowledge about the car.

I have since looked at it every time it’s popped back up for sale online only. Looks better now and had had some money spent on it.

Tom Keys looks after my 400. He’s a top man, very helpful and knowledgable.

Bought my Boxster S from him too a very nice guy and him and his father had looked after my car for a few years.

I'd guess it's hanging around as most people buying a Gransport don't want 'black on black' - they look better in lighter colours, and there are nicer interior combos.

I always think when looking at QPV, 4200 and Gransports that the black interiors look as if the buyer missed an opportunity to make it something special.

I've had beige, black then tan as the interiors on my Masers. The black was ok but mine had red cross stitching which was really nice but otherwise then can be dull especially if the car is a dark colour outside. The only advantage is that black leather hides seat wear really well which is important when a car gets old. Some of the cream leather 3200/4200/GSs now look completely *******.

Agree re cream Bob but it is surprising how well they can clean up if the underlying leather is undamaged, so still worth considering if you know what can be fixed.
