brakes gransport help

Hi all, been a while i have been reading a thread on sensible priced replacement brakes for the Gransport is it correct about the 550 disc is cheeper and will fit straight on?

Hi Frank.....the numbers are the same for 3200/4200/GS discs......quite a few have used them now.....

Frank, as Frank says, they do fit. There are several pads that fit also, the Green Grippers are good as are the Ferrodos and dont use old pads on new discs nor vice versa.

Dont use the EBC Redstuff, they are terrible, the greens are miles better. The Red compound is just too hard and should be track only pads. When cold you press the brake and nothing happens other than requiring a change of underwear!

Green grippers work well.....£70 or so for both sets.....see alternatives thread..........less dust....just a lot of grinding to do to ensure the correct snug fit..........
