Anyone else sick of it yet?

Months ago, now here’s my sealed envelope prediction,
So sorry Mr & Mrs Euro, we made a mistake, we’d like to stay after all,
No problem; £39 billion and no voting rights and you’re in......

Whatever will the press, tabloids, broadsheets and media have to b*tch about if and when we depart. Who else will be next in their cross hairs for us to get angry at, whatever will they do??:road_rage-28:

Say what you like about JC, he's not into the EU and he surely knows all he has to say is 'new ref' or 'cancel brexit' and he's in.

But he won't because he has his principles and I know some are are/were bit wayward but you can't deny he's a man of the people even if some of the people might be terrorists lol!

Luckily the Scottish government sought clarification for you, and following last week's ECJ ruling we now know that the UK has the power to unilaterally withdraw Art 50 notification any time before midnight 29th March and it gets to keep the status quo.

Reading a lot of Remain philosophy on here or 2nd Referendum.
Luvvies too rally to the banner.
Well (in the interest of balance) I would just like to reiterate my wish to leave and it has never faltered.
Just sayin', guess I need my tin hat

Me niether, my fear is our EU equivalents ie the unelected establishment (corporate included) see to it that we remain, and just carry on running the country on debt...fools..

Yep Thank God for checks and balances eh, for reasoned, calm, transparent debate and not being strung along by special interest lobbyists eh. Yep give me Sovereign Parliament anyday of the week. You know.... that "thing" we had before, during and hopefully after our E.U membership. I couldn't agree more with the above.

What special interest lobbyists are you referring to?

At a guess I would say, bankers, capitalists, politicians or anyone else that creams the cash in off the backs of hard working folk. The clue is in the phrase "special interest" ie I'm alright Jack, **** you!

The EU is elected in much the same way as the UK democratic system. I think our current establishment or at least the previous one has done a halfway decent job of balancing the books in the context of a global recession, it was the vote to leave that scuppered our continued recovery.

I can’t actually foresee any scenario where we don’t leave. The to-ing and fro-ing will continue until the end of January and then there just isn’t time for another referendum. Even with a snap general election which I think unlikely I don’t think any party will change the course to leave.

I refer to me observing the U.S. The money behind the power. The similarities of the last several years is un-canny. I'm sure Sky reported on this briefly on Contributions made and contributors with Trump's election and separately Brexit...Correct me if I'm wrong. Hence my full post in 871. In addition I never understood why Jacob Rees Mogg moved his business interest to Dublin....yet is campaigning for a hard exit? Am I missing something here? Hmmm.

Are you drinking Gin and do you thus require your SM minders?

No Gin, no VW camper van involved, out with a client so at least one drink behind them... working so far! I have predicted the sex of two women’s pregnancies so far and the beer is flowing well....
