Brexit Deal

Before the present situation, when back home in the U K from work, and going to Europe for a holiday I used to say I’m never flying with them again, but we have short memories and at half the price I always did it again. But never bought a raffle ticket, I did find out that the sale of raffle tickets contributed to the air crews wages.
Never. Never. Never. No matter how cheap. Not business or personal. Nope.

TBF, I flew with them Leeds - Dubs twice a week and no issues, if you treat it as a flying bus and say 'no' to everything. I've no complaints.
I flew a lot with them in the past. It is not the crew or people on the ground and never had any issues, but I cannot line the pockets of that guy who believes he has the right to treat his customers like sh1t on his shoe.

Aer Lingus much better, plus no passport needed for UK-Ireland and back.....

They'll shoot on sight instead.

Radar gun = radar / gun hybrid.
I didn't really have a problem last week, we just rolled down south at a steady 85 ish to see her indoors sister in Nice who's not very well at the moment , then on to Menton
We got stopped a few times on the way, she has a French passport and I have a resident's permit,we were reluctantly just waved on
The French plod in Nice didn't look too happy though, what with the old Guida Destra Fiat with its GB plates!

Flew with them business to Boston. All good but plane was pretty old on the return. You could tell. Nowhere near as good as BA.
Aer Lingus are BA though, and BA are part of Iberia. All are IAG.

Told this Irish chap in the boozer who would only fly 'Irish' that AL are part of BA, and proved it - he went ape I kid you not.

Was it this plane?

Haha. Yeah I know they are, they must get the cast offs. It was slightly newer by a year or 2.

Interesting to see how online companies are handling custom duties between UK and the rest of the EU, with VAT, without VAT, Customs deposits buying is becoming a nightmare

A lot of cycling equipment companies are based in Europe and are now refusing to sell their stuff to the British as it now costs them more than their profit margin in duties etc. To send it here.

I noticed Campagnolo have made such an announcement on their web site. But all of their stuff still seems to be available through Amazon. Presumably it’s just direct sales because they haven’t worked out their systems yet.

With Amazon, I assume it's just their existing stock, once that runs out.....

I buy a lot of Assos stuff, not sure if that will be affected as they're based in Switzerland.

Be plenty of salmon and lobster available though.

Lobster, yes, initially, not sure about salmon, it appears shellfish have been excluded in the 'fisheries' deal.
But in the long run, if the lobster fishermen (and women) can't sell their product at a profit, they go bust. No one sells the product. We have to import. The price goes up.
Or.
Should the lobster fisherman/women want to stay in business, the price goes up.

Result for the consumer. Lose-lose in the long run.
