After talking to Mark this really makes sense chaps.....A very cheap way to protect the paint for the day.

I used it at a recent VMAX event at Brunty and it worked well. However, it takes a good 1-2 hours to cover the vital bits properly, as any panel with a curve or crease will need several smaller pieces to adequately ensure protection, plus you get through a lot of the stuff too; don't understimate how much you will need.

Is that because of aesthetic considerations, or will it really not work?

Well that's sort of my point. I'm *way* more worried about protecting the paint than I am about what it looks like. I figure I could cover the whole car in tape in about 20 minutes....

I have just placed the order and paid for the TrakkTape. They have donated £100 to the charity which gets our gate off to a good start without even turning a wheel! You can spend the time waiting to be served in the bar at the hotel sorting it out! There will be loads of time before the food is ready.

I think the guys who are surplying the tape should come along and help with the application would be a very good marketing opportunity for them and help us morons !
