Being the ever eternal optimist, I'm hoping to carry out at least one Bucket List Motorsport event per year till i do actually kick it. Dependent of course on future travel restrictions.

To qualify for the bucket list it must be one of the following
a single stand-alone race event (say IOM TT),
a race within a series that would still run even if it wasn't part of a series, (say Le Mans 24 Hour)
or have a specific USP
IOM TT - Done 1999 the year Joey didn't win anything.
Le Mans 24 Hours - Done 2016 onwards
F1 GP at Monaco
F1 GP at Spa
F1 GP at Silverstone
A NASCAR Race at Indianapolis
A NASCAR Race at Daytona
AMA Race at Daytona (American Superbike)
CART Race at Indianapolis
MotoGP at Mugello
MotoGP at Assen
MotoGP at Argentina - Just to say that I've been to Termas de Rio Hondo - basically the middle of nowhere at the end of South America
NW200
DTM at Nurburgring (long circuit)
WSB at Assen (done with foggy in the 90's and a track day)
WSB or MotoGP at Phillip Island (done WSB and a Track Day)
Goodwood Festival of Speed
Goodwood Revival
Le Mans Historic
Monaco Historic
A Race a Fuji - Japanese Superbikes or car equivalent and or Suzuka

I need more suggestions to cover the next fifty years

Nurburgring 24h - Le Mans with German beer - and you thought the French could drink!

Bathurst 1000 - a weekend of drinking in Aus - and you thought the Germans were alkys

Bol d’Or - 24h of drinking with bikers

Zell am See Ice Race - might not quite meet you criteria but it’s drinking in the snow with nutters

The drinking is optional but all are great races.

Not done any of these but worthy of consideration?

Circuit des Remparts d'Angoulême classic car race.
Macau GP
Goodwood Festival of Speed replace with Prescott Hill Climb
Goodwood Revival replace with Goodwood Members' Meeting
Lydden Hill World Rallycross
1000 Lakes Rally, Finland
If only one time at Indy, Indianapolis 500
Kielder Forest Rally

Does it still happen? I thought it died about 15 years ago.

Wikipedia shows last ones were 14 and 15. Did a couple in my yoof.......which was many years ago :)

Ragging a properly tuned FRZ1000 up the drag strip all day and drinking heavily all night :). Not sure it would ft my warm milk and biscuit routine now ;)

If he had 2 legs he could have upgraded to a 911.

Done the Bol D'or with MotoMax Yamaha YZF750SP, came 11th. Steve Plater, Dave Redgate and Dave Gooden(?) were the riders. Top Yam too Yam France retired! 1995 on my Suzuki GSX550ESD. Drove down from Germany...

Good shout on Bathurst, that's the Holden v Ford fight and a race breaks out?
