Buying precious metal

Ok Wattie/Froddy and others
I am interested in buying some precious metal - no not a Maserati
I am fed up with banks.
I own my own home, have a modest holiday home and a student apartment. I have a small portfolio of shares. I have a couple of Cash ISA's. At the mo the properties are doing well and the shares are not so I am looking at metals.
I need advice on which metal Gold Silver Paladium etc (the Royal Mint has a trident on their examples - must be an omen!) over a period of 5 years or so. I am not particularly risk averse and would 'invest up to £10000 in the metal.
So who would I use as my vendor? Is it too late?
Other suggestions are also welcome, maybe buy the toe of a racehorse

I can put you in touch with a Nigerian Prince. In return for your 10k we will send you 10k kilo of finest 26k gold metal. The goods will be sent to our holding agent in the UK. We will supply tracking number so you can be sure goods are on there way to UK. Once they arrive you can transfer funds to Nigerian Prince and he will authorise release of 36k gold metal bars to you.

No risk to you goods will be in UK and we place trust by shipping to UK agent amd trust you will complete as promised !!!!!!

Honest special family rate from my Uncle the Prince of Wakanda.

Terrific decision :dance2:
Too late......have you seen the state the global Ponzi scheme is in?
Pm me your mobile and a convenient time to call.....returning home today after my little soirée. Many options so I’ll assist your understanding.
Go Gold, less volatile.

You picked a good time... Silver just dropped from $27 to $23...Recent highs being $29
Like wattie said gold is steadier. But speak to him he's the metals man

Investing and trading are two different things.
Accumulate dips if you’re an investor.
