I love it Tim, I take pride in piling the miles on herYou’re doing well there, 92k on a 3200 would have many running for the hills.

That's okSorry mate but the sealant squishing out looks dreadful.
Are they sisters?Great to see someone doing it themselves
You should really attempt to wipe it all off Loz mate before it sets.Sorry mate but the sealant squishing out looks dreadful.
I did Dave, and underneath, Loctite 510 doesn't set until compressed or heated, it just wiped off.You should really attempt to wipe it all off Loz mate before it sets.
It just makes the job look more professional

Not in the pics you didn't... you can get Loctite 510 in black which looks lots better on ali castingsI did Dave, Loctite 510 doesn't set until compressed or heated, it just wiped off.
so that looked like 0.18mm - is that bad?
I think factory spec is between 0.15 and 0.2?. I stand to be corrected on that though, it's OK I reckon. Engine stopped, it's an Auto measured moving the crank back then fully forward.so that looked like 0.18mm - is that bad?
Is it measured with engine stopped, just operating clutch?
thanks.I think factory spec is between 0.15 and 0.2?. I stand to be corrected on that though, it's OK I reckon. Engine stopped, it's an Auto measured moving the crank back then fully forward.
Yes gently lever it back off the subrame then lever it forward between pulley and block. I was quite happy bearing in mind it has nearly 100k miles on it.thanks.
How do you move the crank in an auto? Literally push and pull it?
My end float needs to be measured.
What is the use of making this measurement?
