Can anyone recommend a suitable Sydney leather specialist/expert to remove a faint hue of blue in a couple of places on white seats of the Granturismo? Came off a blue micro fibre cloth that wasn’t colour stable. Thankfully saw it quickly so got most of it off but not all of it.

Not sure about pros, but I have found this product to be unbelievable good at cleaning leather (almost black magic!):

Leatherique Rejuvenator / Prestine Clean

I had colour transfer from new black jeans onto the cream leather in my jag.
Used baby wipes, worked perfectly.

Furniture clinic do something called Ultra Clean, it’s brilliant for removing everything Inc denim transfer.

To the extent others read this, the baby wipes were helpful but not that effective for my problem, soft toothbrush and leather cleaning fluid was better, but still not where I want to get to.

Try the Leatherique Rejuvenator, my car had white sun cream stains (looked bleached) on black leather which I couldn't move with anything (baby wipes or specific interior car cleaner). The Leatherique got it out as 10min job.

Thanks I’ll give that a go before I have to hand to the experts I think........

Just as an example, here is a rank Discovery steering wheel and 5mins of cleaning. You put the "rejuvenator" on first, rub it around with a cloth, get it clean, then clean off the oil with the cleaner fluid. Not my car so I did not go full OCD on it...

Well I gave Leatherique a go, good stuff so would recommend to others. Only had the rejuvenator on for 24 hours and the blue hue has gone. I actually think the baby wipes helped before the blue dye got to set but the Leatherique certainly did the difference and they look cleaner than before.

Just spotted this thread. I'm a confirmed Leatherique fan too. I've used a good part of their product range including custom dye.

Here are some before and after of a seat I just did which the previous person had going be over the red stitching with the dye. Thinners it all off and 1mm fine line mask them

94869

the colour they had used was wrong as you can see from the thinners cutting through to the original colour
94870

Results after 5 coats of dye and 3 coats of semi Matt sealer. Method: gravity fed spray gun at 12-15 psi 0.8 nossle
94871

94872

94873
Time: 8hrs
Cost Inc consumables: £600
Both front seats and a partial door card, centre armrest and local to the centre gear consul

I haven’t had to as yet. But if I had to I would poke a piece of muslin through the hole, flatten it out then use a filler I have from furniture clinic and build it up over a few days, put another piece of muslin over the top and use an iron to flatten. Then a final thin coat to texture.

The way I treat the deeper creases is paint the dye over the creases heavily with a brush and use it like a filler then about 10 spray coats of dye and it gets rid of them completely. It’s just very time consuming to get a perfect finish.

Great - glad it worked for you.
