Carbon on a Ghibli

When buying mine I had to go with the wooden trim as all the other boxes were ticked... I’m not looking to buy the carbon parts and wondered where to get them from or is anyone selling theirs?

I have some wrap in the garage... might just have a go and see if it looks ok. I ideally want real carbon but everyone seems on on sell carbon ‘style’ parts and that’s a huge no no

They will be a fortune to buy but you could try breakers such as eurospares. Alternatively, hydro dip the parts in carbon which does look good if done properly. You'd need to get the trim parts out, which may be a mission as Maserati have a fascination with hiding tiny screws and trim clips in hard to reach places!

Hydro dip like I did with mine recently.

I don't think they are true carbon anyway. It is carbon on the aluminium frame I believe.

Well that was pretty easy and makes a huge difference! I’ll do the gear surround when I get back from the school run

Had Open Pore Radica on my first and High Gloss Ebano on my second. Fancied carbon and found someone selling a full set on eBay but was put off due to the centre piece being slightly damaged.
Got a nice carbon interior and aero carbon pack on my Granturismo now. Love it.

If it’s anything like putting a phone screen protector on I don’t think I could cope! Good effort, looks great.

You can always just peal it off if you don’t like it.

I had some in the garage from another project but it’s cheap enough to buy £30 maybe

More about getting the wood off. Or did you do it in situ?

That is very easy! I did the door trims last night and it took about half an hour to do from removal to replace.

The Center console is also simple... a bit more intricate to wrap but again it took about half an hour to complete.

The parts need to be off to wrap around them for a good finish.
