CD option not working

Hello All.
I'm a new owner of a GranTurismo purchased from Nareman in London.
I am struggling to get the CD option to work. With a CD in the system it does not give me the option of CD when going through the 'source' option, it just gives two options of Radio and AUX as I have the later turned on.
Any help would be great. I do have a good warranty on the car if I need to use it.
It's a 2010 with the Bose if that helps.
Thanks, Jason

Sounds like you will need to use your warranty. From memory mine starts playing as soon as the cd goes in. Certainly has the cd option in source too. Do you have the USB and 3.5mm jack in the glove box?

Yes, they are both in the glove box.

If you have the apple lead, tune2air or one of the other Bluetooth devices is good to stream from phone to aux. Doesn't help with your cd issue but saves carrying loads of discs. ;)

My NIT(s) used to play with all sorts of rejections if the date and time weren't set correctly and in sync with gps, I seem to recall CD reading

Try a shop bought CD as Robin says they hate homemade mixtapes

Also check in the NIT options, there is a setting to enable/disable Aux, turn it off and see if that helps.

There may be an option to enable the CD too

Ah, no self burned dvds either. As young Matthew said, try a 'standard' shop bought CD Album first
