I know they're "special" but don't you think that owning a car like that and only doing 500 miles a year is criminal?
And you say this is a HIGH milage example, so most have done less - what's the point?
Whilst if I had one I'd want to keep it in my living room on display, I'd have to drive the wheels off the thing whenever I could!

I agree, if i was lucky to have one, i would try and do around 3-5K miles a year, that is quite a lot considering most do about 1000 miles a year. And i agree, put it in the living room.

I've seen a black one - Rod Stewart's? Chris Evan's painted his white of course.

I don't think the yellow one is particularly cheap.

In answer Andy - (so i'm told...) And the £295 price tag is the cheapest i've seen around, most of late hitting the £350k!!

Original F40's

* All F40's left Ferrari factory in LHD (same for all the specials, 288 GTO, F50 and Enzo)
* All F40's left Ferrari factory in Rosso Corsa Red.

F40's in RHD
Approximately 12 F40's exist with RHD configuration. These where converted by Pininfarina (+ some F50's) at the request of the Sultan of Brunei.

F40's with Non Red Paint
A few where painted in non original red. The Sultan of Brunei owns some F40s in different colours like battleship grey, white and rumour has it that he has a gold-plated one too. Since some of the Sultan's F40's where sold off they have been repainted back to factory spec.

What you don't know Andrea isn't worth knowing....Very impressed..........I remember reading somewhere that they were all red whrn they left the factory....And best colour for them as well.

with regard the F40 - agree red - some things shouldn't be tampered with... this goes for a lot of the F models in my mind... (ooh how opinionated i sound!)

See to be honest any F40, F50, Enzo should really be red as its expected...I know it sounds silly....but other colours don't seem to sell well on the used market....
