Cheap (?) project 3200...

Spotted this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Maserati-3200GT-Twin-tubo-V8-NEED-TLC-TAX-MOT-DRIVEAWAY-/230526761826?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item35ac773b62 and I see it's cunningly listed as a Nissan!

I reckon this is top money for something that needs new exhausts, a belt service and probably chains too if you subscribe to the Maserati mantra, and a dose of cosmetics. And then it will always be a leggy car with dubious history!

One to turn in to a racer or track day beast perhaps.

Its dropped in price a bit...Not sure but wasn't there a chap on here in the early days selling a high mile green 3200 that need some love...Is it the same car?

Heheh Paco, i have a funny feeling this is Steve's old car mainly from the darkside , think he was from Notts/ Leeds area so might ring true , definately the same colour combo link might work http://www.*********************/photo.asp?photoid=176&asorttype=6&apage=1 history of his car and is no reflection on him , is very chequered , he had an awful time towards the end of his ownership (thats if he has sold it i know he was trying), new engines that went pear shaped etc etc all kinds of mishaps ended up costing him an absolute fortune nearly what he paid for the car , he wasn't a happy chappy the last time i spoke to him about it , at the first midlands meet

Steve i do apologise , not heard from you in a while, hope life is good. I assumed wrongly that you could possibly have sold it as i know you had just come out of a series of disasterous and costly probs , gutted for you mate , but as i said it was no reflection on you, your car couldn't have had a more fastidious ownerthan yourself , unlike the one advertised, , great to hear she's in good shape and look forward to hearing more from you in the future , once again mate i apologise, next time the beers on me
