Thanks Guys.
What's the verdict?
Obviously its an auction so no chance of a test drive etc..
But I like the look of it and it if its the right money could be a good purchase.

It's a classy colour combo.
I know nothing of the car or its history but 6 specialist stamps is encouraging. Call CCA and ask to be taken through the history and find out when and where those 6 services were done.

That's the same colour combo as mine. I think its the best but I'm slightly biased.
If you don't go for that mines going up for sale. 65K miles, needs some body paint TLC, but has a full main dealer service history.

I bought it off a builder at the time who knew nothing about the car or 4200's. He bought it for his wife as a surprise present who didn't like it! Had a boot full of water when I bought it and wet carpets inside as well actually also some underbody corrosion. I treated the corrosion and emptied the water. Never found where it was leaking from. It drove OK, not the best I've driven or the worst. Had some issues that might have been clutch related as would stall sometimes on pull away.

Service history was OK but not full or complete. Not like my garage queen pampered beauty with 14 annual services/inspections I think :D

Looked nice enough and nice colour combo but not sure about the Avorio leather lasting so well. Avorio looks nice with the Nettuno but glad I have the beige in mine. Seems to wear/age better.

Decent buy if cheap enough but needs to be cheap enough. Not a patch or even close to my car which is one a different level IMHO. However, of course I would say that. It is true though.

The spare key was funny as was a replaced item and non-OEM that the builder got from Timpson's. Can't recall if I tried it and it worked but I'm guessing it did.

As long as you knew. Even at a new gearbox, you should be all in for just over £10k which for the miles, history and colour combination seems a good place to be
