I've seen a couple of mentions of using the rotary lance on this thread. Be VERY careful if you do!
I'm pretty sure it is designed for removing loose paint and stubborn algae/moss etc from hard surfaces. There is a good chance if it catches the edge of paint or clear coat on a stone chip or similar, a bit of dirt will be the least of your worries.

Goodness, Gaz, not at all.
Just one of those things. They must have changed the design, and Screwfix Cheltenham were completely charming and understanding.
The Halfords Snow Foam Lance is excellent, adjustable.
I'm just pleased that I can now do the necessary frequent clean efficiently with the advice given.
Thanks again, Gaz

Very aware, Sam, I've had lances in the past, blasting Cotswold stone paving

I use mine mainly on the wheels of the dailies not the mas. It does clean the inner wings of mud and grit nicely though.

The K4 attachments are fully controllable both in terms of pressure and jet size. The Halfords Snow Lance rinser attachment was just the right pressure and distribution
