I
If the water isn't blasting then you'll be fine.
Mine were exactly the same yesterday, and to be honest have been like that for a week or so, but had so much else to do I just left them, totally covered in a thick dust deposit. But it has p1ssed down for the past 24 hours, so all that dust has just gently been washed away. Now I have 60 mph gusts of wind drying everything off, no problem. All being well, tomorrow or the next day I can wash them properly without any concerns.

To be honest, that is about all they will let me build... who would have thought a garage to look like a barn, replacing a barn would be so contentions
I know what you mean. I had to fight a ***** of a planning officer to get mine. To start with she said no because I was in a conservation area, I had to send a map of the conservation area with my property marked to prove she was wrong, I wasn't in it. After that she would not agree to anything, I wanted a room above which she couldn't stop me from having but she wanted to. She was going to throw the whole lot out so I went to her boss and put him straight about a few things and I was going to get the building inspector involved, guess what, it got passed.
But the ***** put a condition in the approval NO WINDOWS IN THE ROOF. We look out over a ten acre field that we own!!! And the garage can't be seen from the road!!!
Have you looked at permitted development with out permission, you may find you can build something under that. Good luck and don't give up.

Curtilage site, and their concern is it will obstruct the view of the listed dovecote... the only ones who can see that view are us! and the three other elevations that the public can see will not be impacted on.

The 'historic' view is rather a grand term for a unremarkable wall... but we have spent £5k already with pro fees... thats 5 years of high end car storage and we will be moving to Cumbria in 3 or 4 years.

There was a ****** lean-to there previously before we developed the area. The Nissan is where we park and wanted to build... their suggestion was to put it to the left and in front of our bifold doors!828878288882889

I fear I am going to have similar issues when I move into my new home and want to purchase some land to the rear and build a garage.

Sounds like you have been round the Bock's on this and probably know more than me. If you just want somewhere to park to keep the dust off how about a wooden sectional garage I don't think you need permission for that and you could take it with you when you leave.
The planners should realise that if people hadn't been allowed to build what the wanted in the past, we wouldn't have conservation area's now.

Listed building, AONB so PP needed even for a shipping container.

Exactly so as said.
Just completed a trial with the kit.
Overall disappointed. Some things are excellent but others useless.
I'll report later.
Probably asking musician neighbour if he'd mind storing her in his converted pristine recordingstudio barn conversion

Or one of his other open barns. At least she'd be away from the road debris

So a trial run on the BMW, 'cos I couldn't care less if the wheels fell off.
Good subject, white, and suitable light grime around the skirts (Lower half panels and rear.)

Now the exercise is to lift grime/abrasive stone dust without sponging.

First: The Halfords Snow Foam lance doesn't fit, to any of the Titan guns, accessories, hose. The Halfords thing comes with several adapters.
It looks as though the Hose and gun and accessories on the Titan are nothing like the Standard Karcher etc.
It maybe that they have changed, but no, people have had difficulty matching up adapters since 2016

However, there is a similar dispenser included with the Titan.
Loaded up with Autoglym SnowFoam just as a trial.

To start
A quick lance over first with the fan, merely to wet the surface. Not much effect there. Didn't even lift a smear that lifted with a light finger.

So the SnowFoam.
Well, neither. Snow nor Foam.
Probably 'cos the dispenser is useless. Ho hum.
Washed off with the more aggressive rotary lance.
Bu&&er all effect.
Skirts as grimy as ever.

So Bilt Hamber Snow Foam.
A little better, but really just blaaahhhed and flobbed over the paintwork. Must be the applicator, as I've seen spectacular Snow Foam fun elsewhere. Great fun, but never observed the effectiveness.
Left to react/work for 5 minutes.
Washed with less aggressive fan/lance.
BMW skirts completely untouched.
High pressure rotary lance.
Bu&&er all

Let it drain.

A light hand spray of Bilt Hamber Surfex HD .
Left for 5 minutes
Less aggressive fan jet.
Washed the grime away easily.
Completely clean.

Fooooooooooo'ing brilliant

Bilt Hamber Surfes HD it is, and plain lances

I've still no idea whether Snow Foam is worth it, as the trial wasn't representative.

So thank you all for the advice.
The Titan is fine (it's the 2nd one, 1st broke on assembly)
The Halfords Snow Foam Lance doesn't fit
I should have bought a standard Karcher to start with with the assurance that there'd be no bu&&ering about with accessories.
I'm stuck with the Titan now. Fuff.

I've 5 litres of Bilt Hamber Snow Foam and 1.5 litres of Autoglym Snow Foam (about £45 in all) that's sitting there useless unless I can find an adapter

and it seems that loads of people have difficulty in finding the correct adapter for the Titan, so either the Halfords Foam lance goes back, or if anyone can advise on which of the plethora of adapters fit: Black and Dekker or whatever.

Cheers, Robin

The snow mix needs adjusting by the sound of it. To get a decent thick mix which sticks. But the Surfes HD sounds good

All sorted.
Karcher K4 combined with Halfords snow foam lance.
All as it should.
Bilt Hamber stuff is excellent. Both the surfactant and snow foam together with the softened water supply.
Jets and aggressiveness adjustable.

Sorted and thanks for the advice

Strange as it fits mine fine at the end of the lance. I didn't even have to change any fittings.

Sorry if I sent you on a wild goose chase.
