I had a look at that earlier and couldn't see the pin out, but was doing three other things at the time

Hi thanks for the reply.. the aftermarket unit is Alpine ILX FD903.

I’ve ordered a generic universal quadlock from amazon and when it arrives I’ll start populating the pins and see where it leads to

What are you doing with the sport buttons etc and how will you get the analogue clock and service reset etc? Are you keeping the nit elsewhere?
The sport buttons and co are going to be inset into this carbon frame. The NIT is removed but a quadlock extension is situated for easy connection when needed in case I have to set the time. The service reset is done by the EBD socket and scan tool

There’s a quadlock in the drinks holder area. I’ve temporarily put it there until after the big install is sorted. Check out the first head unit pic you’ll see it

Ah right. That's a good idea. I know people that have extended to the boot and installed their factory units there (not mas though).

Some updates.. nearly ready for a Retrim

Carbon frame hand made to house the switches and heater control unit/air vents.
The Ashtray is deleted as I don’t smoke. And I did think about installing a usb charger in its place. But check back for more updates and when I start to reassemble the car interior
