The dead pedal was only offered as a part of the MC sportline pedal set which was an option on all GT and GC models. They were not standard on the GC MC or the Stradale either. As far as I'm aware ,they could not be bought separately or as a part of the aluminum pedal set shown on post # 50.
They also do not match perfectly as a part of the MC pedal set - horizontal vs parallel anyone?!

perhaps the horizontal provides more grip? Might be useful in the brake pedal?

Its a complete unit- plug and play. Plastic pedal base bolts to the floorpan and connects to drive by wire throttle via a cable connector. Easy fit.

Perhaps the notion of tactile distinction is the reason why, that the pedals 'feel' different... and whilst that theory applies on the flight deck with some of the primary controls operated by hand, I'm not sure what feedback I'd get through my trainers!

How is the accelerator pedal attached? Why is it not secured by bolts like the other two?

Agreed they don’t match, but the dead pedal is OE spec and the throttle and brake pedals are OE, so they don’t match but they are right for my model of GC. Only MC cars have matching pedals I think.
I think what we have in our cars was called "Aluminium Pedals" and it was a (cost?) option ... separate from the full on MC Sportline pack which gave you the full set of pedals in Stuart's photo above

And that is a proper floor mounted pedal, as all pedals should be!

Very happy to make the other two pedals. Just need more people to sign up . I have 6 potential orders so far.
Maybe advertise full set with price on a new thread? Might get out to members not following this thread..

£216 for the 'aluminium pedals' on a QP GTS according to the brochure of April 2012...

Can anyone confirm that, on cars without a factory-fitted MC aluminium brake pedal, the same 4 x M6 threaded holes are present?

I swapped out mine and it had 4 bolts in the same place. I did however see a version being sold with 3 that the seller insisted came from a GT.

on my 4.2 with the rubber brake pedal no holes are present. I used double sided tape for now but once I feel like it i will drill the holes. Which probably is going to be headache.

Ok. So same as the dead pedal. Use the new pedal as a template. Attach with double sided tape, drill 4 holes and use M6 nuts and bolts to attach. I’ll supply the nuts as well next time

I have the medal brake pedal as in makeshifts photo above, and it also has the four m6 bolts as per the MC pedal
