Coupe 4.2 CC - V8CBO...

Well, after the last few months of sitting around, I am back out on the search to offload a few pounds (financial ones for the time being!)

I recently bought an E350 cabrio and having already had a QPV, I am looking at the 4.2 coupe as my next ‘investment’, as they do seem remarkable value.
Anybody have any thoughts or knowledge of the attached - it seems to be good condition and has a reasonably recent clutch - certainly cheap!

All advice and assistance much appreciated, as always.

Rather like my first one, I sold that with similar miles back in 2011 for just a couple of grand more... kept their value.

The car also had two gearboxes as had mine!?!... front grille is non standard, and may have been painted/wrapped as the chrome is very thin.

Pretty sure a member did something very similar some years back... may be the same.

Mines the same colour combination all round, and I plastidip painted the chrome grill, however with a nice shiny trident.

Agreed.. The Trident was the only potential nasty point that my untrained eye spotted! If I get it, I might be asking you where I can get that improvement made! Cheers

Is that colour Sebring?

Why is the Giugaro badge under the rear light? Not covering up a bit of rust is it?

I am promised to have the docs via email this PM, prior to viewing, as I am based in Dorset - will update then.

Docs still not arrived and I am not one to chase people. ...How not to sell a car, seemingly!

The rust usually occurs at the edge of the light? Either way extra tridents on front wings and Italian flags on skirts so suspect badge is just a bit of a “sticker special”; easily resolved if not a fan. Driver seat looks good for mileage.

Ps - is exhaust non standard, tips look different to stock?
Will the previous owners please stand up!! This car just looked like it has had an enthusiast’s ownership.

Interestingly, I thought tips were standard (why would people mess with stock Maserati beauty?!) but I stand corrected. Out of interest, is Sebring considered a good colour - I was partly attracted by it...

Update - the selling garage did not email any documentation etc as promised. I’m not into chasing people, so I guess this one is not going to happen!

I can't understand people being like that but with the aggravation I'm having with an estate agent and solicitor selling my uk property since December 2020 :(
