Diesel emission claims

Adverts all over the radio and social media asking people to join the “class actions” against various manufacturers for “fixing” the test results on their diesel cars.

Are these cases likely to lead to pay outs or is it all a bit of a scam.

I never got a penny from PPI although my brother netted £30k.

I have bought #6 diesel Jaguars in the relevant period, just not sure it’s worth the effort.

Anyone made a claim / got a pay out?

I despise this sort of claims culture and I can guarantee that anyone who does get a payout doesn't get a letter from DVLA asking for a back payment on road fund licence for the 'corrected' emmissions.

It's all a ploy by companies trying to make money. Who in reality really gave a toss what the emissions were other than to reduce road tax. Parasites the lot of them.

They will take a large % of any "winnings"

I can only think they will win with deliberate cheat devices (ala VW) rather than not getting the mpg or emissions as a result of the old standard test.
