Handy tip if you got the newly released Virgin Media TiVo cable tv.
Goto to the wish lists and setup a new one with a keyword of Maserati. It will then automatically record any TV programme with any Maserati content such as documentaries or races.
Also handy if you like a particular actor, director or genre etc.

Not sure if you can do the same with a particular Sky or Freeview box?

We just sky+ anything we really like and then watch them later but fast forward through the adverts

My Sky+ is currently only receiving on one channel though so if I'm recording something I can;t watch anything which is a bit of a pain.

I have had this, and pretty sure I know what it is. You either have one of the cables come away from the back of the box, or more likely, your quad LNB has partially packed up. The LNB is the pickup that the dish reflects onto, they are well known for one of the channels to let go, due to the elements.

Have a moan to Sky, threaten to leave, they will come fix it for free. I have threatened to leave so many times, and have never got past the cancellation department, they will do anything not to loose you and rightly so!

The joys of self employment.... No sick pay, no holidays... I got home today to a message that I 'must return our call today' from HMRC!!!! Ooops... slapped wrist and a big dent in the already stretched overdraft!
