Driver seat stuck. Help!!!

Hi all, I need some help. As in topic. When I try to move forward or back I have beeping noise from under the dash and I can hear the motor clicking. All other seat adjustments/motors working properly. Any ideas?

Thank you but this didn't help as its stuck in most forward position

I would try disconnecting the battery for 30 mins, seems to cure all manner of faults with these cars

I've connected the motor directly to the battery and nothing so it looks like new one on the way unfortunately.

When my back rest stuck I had the motor out and freed it up. They’re basically a wiper motor with a rod/cable.

Same motor as the boxster, so don't pay maserati prices.

I've swapped the tilt motor, now I have to order new one from Porshe
