E10 is rebadged monkey p!ss. Another kick in the nuts from the 'save the planet', tree hugging fuckwits. If you buy a car that runs well on that sh!te, you need reaming out with rusty barbed wire. The only reason I use 100 octane is because Avgas isn't readily available on the high street.

We are being taken for a ride or is it as idiots on this green agenda. Surcharging on gas, electric, petrol etc etc. Will it save the planet nah! Just a way for the politicians to tax us more I'm afraid. But what can we do about it but grumble.

I find the pricing level of E5 super unleaded frustrating.
I'm limited to BP with a fuel card and some garages charge a premium of 8p, and others 20p+!
Obviously those charging an additional 20p are taking advantage of those that have to use E5.
When you pick up the nozzle and its over £1.60 a litre...

Wondering what T knows about planet saving. Living as I do in a democracy, the downside I have come to understand is that the majority gets its way and the minority has to live with it, providing doesn't infringe fundamental human rights. I'm OK to go with that deal, it's preferable to living under less enlightened regimes. I called in at my local Sainsburys yesterday and filled the tank with their E5 149p/l. The cashier remarked upon the >£100 tab, then looked out at the car and I could see a twinge of envy.
