No queue for me but would have liked to have a look to see its origins. The project seems dead. I believe autel ap200, dbscar5 or an idiag... need I mention any more that can do what the forums users need for a few hundred quid. Just my 2 cents from someone that knows that it doesnt take long to write a GUI for something already in the wild.

To be fair guys there's a lot of time and cost I would imagine gone into this project.
As a qualified mechanic/technician myself and have 3 different diagnostic platforms of my own I certainly would be trusting a cheap knock off diagnostic in my car and many can only pull a code out might not even be the right one.
Be Aware.

Can you be more specific, because all autel systems for example cover only ABS and engine modules for the specific car.

I cannot imagine many members on this forum would trust any third party knock offs, clones or GUI skins on their pride and joys. From what I have seen from EasyMAS, it will be worth the wait and possibly the closest module us 'mere mortals' can have to the dealer SD3 system. Obviously this pandemic has had an affect on the development time but I'm sure it will be available soon. My 4200 was the original test mule for the development back in 2018, it looks like it has come a long way since then.

Unfortunately we are not going to make 2020 release due to recent circumstances outside of our control. This was not for the want of trying but we are where we are . Rest assured the release date is imminent and this forum will be the first to know !

All the best.

Steve
Its all good, our forum wishes you the best. Merry Christmas, keep us informed and updated weekly with the latest, as it helps manage our anxiety and our ability to forecast how we will keep our Italian mastiff running.

Enough already... I'm spending this weekend making a decision on which of the available units to buy. Especially since it's more than likely the first available EasyMas will be for the trade and priced accordingly.

I've only got one life...

Your findings would be appreciated sir. A dedicated thread perhaps

A little harsh... EasyMas owed us nothing and if it does not come off then nothing is lost; and it is a commercial venture not a charity.

Hope you do find something that meets your needs.

This is a repeat - EasyMAS release is imminent , many obvious things in 2020 slowed down our intentions.
Currently we are awaiting some stock parts which are delayed at no fault of anyone.

The online shop is ready - As soon as it opens this forum will be the first to know !

We understand that some can't wait and may wish to seek out other options - but remember we have made this system for the benefit of the Maserati enthusiast not short term owners or traders.

Don't get me wrong, not trying to belittle your efforts -- rather applauding them.

But I do have a remaining problem with my '08MY QP5. The on board 'phone unit that still comes up on screen with a valid SIM inserted "Telephone is not available".
One shop says it's the 'phone unit. The handset doesn't even illuminate. While someone else who's a dismantler suggests it might me the control unit. I like my OEM stuff to be working
The shop spent two hours to conclude it's the 'phone unit (see earlier in this thread) but want to be sure before buying a replacement 'phone unit, going down there and back (250 miles and is it a valid reason under current Covid lockdown regs?), paying for more labour only to find there's the control unit to get instead wasting the costs so far incurred.

Shop's diagnostic just says "Telephone" as the fault. So I'm not wanting to add to the £180 spent on three diagnostic fees so far (for two different reasons plus this)
Would rather put the £60 toward an EasyMas.

Will EasyMas when released give me more info than say a TXA3 or your beta?

I thought you'd previously said the full release ie the one would only be sold to the trade? Apologies if my memory is at fault....

Thank you for this information.

If the shop is nearly ready could you please give some informations about the pricing of easymas?

Would be really interesting. Thank you.
