I've got to ask, what is the difference between what you have developed, and this:
Which has been featured on ratarossa YouTube channel extensively recently on a 360 and also covers Maseratis and allows cambriocorsa setting up by the app.

Hard to say as not much info.

I agree, I did ask ratarossa who uses it and he did email me a few screen shots from the Maserati menu.
It doesn't appear to be supported very well, if at all, by the seller and the lack of information but, certainly watching ratarossa videos, works.

Would be interesting to know who makes / supplies it including the cost to purchase new ?

There are a few Maserati tools out there each with its own merit. Buyers choice at the end of the day.

The main difference between these Tools is that EasyMas is specially designed for our cars, the other one for Ferraris. I am Looking Forward to EasyMas

The factory diagnostic equipment is the same used for both Maserati and Ferrari, for of course our Maseratis are a parts bin Ferrari at the end of the day until the newer Ghibli/QP.

Yes , our efforts are solely for Maserati’s and this forum.

Our software will give indication of problems based on Maserati parameters. Other systems just display data without any indication of being out of specification. Work with us and EasyMAS will be a great tool for aftermarket owners.

All the best for the New Year !

Interesting to know it’s based on the Launch x431.

We however will put all efforts into EasyMAS being a “Maserati” only tool unlike Launch etc which are generic multi - vehicle. Our software will contain a small amount of AI based on Maserati parameters and come with good support.

We have the benefit of knowing the Maserati electronics inside out.

Quick question, will it have the ability to set the QP DS to be Manual Sports by default? Nothing annoys me more!

Well , would need to establish if that’s manufacturers firmware or user / diagnostic setting ? If firmware the No !

Just some more info regarding this tool. Two of my cars have the suspension light on. Tool has not been able to communicate with the suspension module on either one of them. Have a third car with Skyhook that is functional and it won't communicate with that car either. Tried to communicate with the EPB module on my GT and it seems to handshake and then disconnect and will not communicate with that module either. So far no joy.

I come from being VW freak (dumped them due to all their **** lies over emissions) using VagCom.
Then went to Jags and a Range Rover using iCarSoft.
So feel somewhat without now having a QP '08MY 81k miles with ZF gearbox. I'm enjoying it so much that I'm sure something's gonna break ...
First time with something so highly strung, let alone a Mas... But without any diagnostics in the glove box... feel somewhat uncomfortable

So this EasyMas thingie seems to be the way to go. But if I read right it's not buyable yet? Which only gives me the option to go with a Foxwell and give North Down a call.
Could someone say whether EasyMas is compatible with QP5? Don't want to do anything too drastic yet just:
want to ferret around the head unit,
may have Vodafone Nav Tracker fitted (found a remote FOB behind glove box),
some startup clatter but only occasionally for about ½ sec,
and the 'phone doesn't work even with an activated SIM slotted in. There's a handset in the centre armrest and system's shown on build record.
CD changer's not reading any audio disk either, so thinking of giving that the heave-ho and fitting something more Bluetooth and useful to that port.

EasyMas a dongle and program for a laptop or handheld diagnostic unit?

... I've 'ad 'er

I get the variator clatter sometimes on start...

Re: the phone SIM, it's 2G only so you need to use a company that still uses the 2G masts, I have a Plusnet on in mine and it works. System is pants, but it works.
