As an example, would the ease read only be able to clear say an airbag light ? If so then what's the definition of 'Write'?

Hi ,

Valid point , will add reset to the shop text.

The READ version will reset faults on all supported ECU’s. Obviously if the fault remains it will not reset. Fault reset is part of the normal ECU’s diagnostic expectation.

The WRITE version is for specific function commands that can change the vehicle setup.

Nice work Steve. With the Bluetooth model would I just plug in the m139 module in and it gives me everything? Wasn't sure what the can1 and can2 were for?

Hi ,

Depending on the ECU and Vehicle you may have to use a combination of the modules , the software will prompt you.
M139 module for QP‘s but you may need CAN1 or CAN2.

No , those are Write function commands. The Write function commands that are available with the Write version are listed on the product page.

Appreciate there is to be some ongoing development with the product but could you give an indication please when the systems not currently covered for the M138 may be added? I am particularly interested in the ABS read capability for my 2004MY 4200 CC Coupe.

What is the PC requirements for the system to operate?

I have a basic tablet (Galaxy Tab A) but no PC or laptop... if I need to buy a laptop I want to ensure it will be compatible.

Hi that looks really good. Is it possible to start out with the read version as then get a software upgrade to the write, if I get that brave, or is the hardware different.

Hi ,

Details are on the product pages under “System Requirements”
Also there is an option for a 10.1 Inch Windows Tablet on the product order page , this is tested for use with EasyMAS and will have the software pre-installed.

Yes , that will be an option. You will need the Bluetooth Read version and pay the difference.

Hardware requirement looks to be a Windows PC, anything in the last 10 years is probably compatible.
It's a pity that ABS and Airbag isn't covered for the 4200/GS.
Im sure if it was easy to do so, it would have been.

So no Airbag reset for the GS yet?

Quick question. Your charging £199 per year in addition to maintain access to the write functions.

So if you buy a version with write functions 12 months later they are disabled unless you pay an extra ongoing £199.

The £49 fee for software updates each year is priced very well but if you choose not to update EasyMas will still operate as a read only/ reset device.

Seems an odd stance to have a different policy on the write functions that you cant use them without an ongoing subscription.

Already discussed this above , possibly in the summer for 4200/GS ABS, Airbag.
Windows Tablet offered as product option.
