Every Garage I worked in the UK we burnt all the old engine oil using a heater from Holland I believe Good heat and no plumes of black smoke.
Don't think that's allowed anymore, used to take all our old oil from the farm to local garage for just such use, till they said they were not allowed to do it anymore.

The UK’s largest gas storage facility, the Centrica-owned Rough site, was closed in 2017.

That's because it was about 10 years past it's safe to use by date. And to bring it up to scratch would have taken about 5 years and cost about 3 billion quid.

However, it is now being re-developed, for a piffling 1.2 billion. And will in the next year or two be up and running as a hydrogen storage facility.

The end of EV's is nigh!
