I was checking things on my car, and saw that my antifreeze is dark green, like the propylene glycol stuff you expect to see in a Chevy truck. My other cars are Mercedes for which we use Zerex G-05, which is peach colored. The Zerex has all the anti-corrosion features requires for most European cars. What antifreeze is appropriate for a 2004 4200 Coupe? If the fluid in mine is the wrong formula, I want it changed Immediately!! Many Thanks

I think you will find that dark green is quite normal. Mine was when I bought it 2 years ago and it was a one owner car serviced every year by a the supplying main dealer for Maserati/Ferrari every year on the dot.
The spec should meet CUNA NC 956-16 according to the handbook.
When I checked out a suppliers of coolant in the UK it came up with COMMA X48 which is green coloured and meets many manufacturers requirements.

My motor factor’s system also confirmed Comma x48, with total coolant capacity for 4200 advised as 11.5L.

I think you mean G48 not x48?

G48 coolants are all generally blue, maybe some slight green tinge (including the original factory fills).

I personally use Zerex G48.
