F1 hose repair kit (4200GT, Quattroporte V, Spyder, GranSport)

For those having cracked or leaky F1 reservoir return or pump feed hoses, we make these in silicone with a special inner coating to handle F1 fluid.
We've been using them in the shop for a few years and supply a few other specialists too.

Install is exactly as the OEM pieces, and very easy to do when doing a F1 pump replacement, FYI you will need to bleed the system just like you'd do a F1 pump.

This repair kit fixes OE# 185070 (19) & 179338 (21) which are prohibitively expensive OEM (€600!)
Uprated silicone replacement kit €125

Fits:
  • Quattroporte V 04-07
  • 4200/GranSport/Spyder 02-07
  • #21 is also used on 360 Modena

If only I knew 6 months ago.

This kit is a must for all 4200 cc owners as their pipes will be ready for replacement or a breakdown soon given the age of even the newest cars.

Those are not the only pipes that go. Maserati used pipes normally seen on cheap cars. One went on mine underneath the intake manifold.

It might be worth @A.S. Motorsport looking into coolant hoses too.

I have all for 3200GT (turbo, coolant, oil, we're working on the braided lines now)
Portion of Shamal and QP IV (engine coolant mains, and turbo returns etc)

I am considering making them for Quattroporte V DS and 4200GT, although i still have OEM stuff.
If it runs out I can have production runs made but it needs to make sense in cost of mold + MOQ.

Ahh, good stuff. The GT has single ply coolant hoses which I'd expect on a FIAT but not a high end car so I replaced mine with a triple ply hose.

hence the coolant hoses we do in silicone (which is matt black like rubber!) are extra reinforced with narrow banding to make it as bulletproof and oem looking as possible.
The rear coolant transfer to the heater often goes bad due to oil inevitable leakage from the cam gasket (just like the old coolant pipes in biturbo)
